Rev. Angela Denker, author of Red State Christians and the upcoming Disciples of White Jesus, will discuss the origins and impacts of Christian Nationalism and explore collaborative strategies to combat it in this two-part series.
Pastor Angela has been researching white Christian Nationalism since 2018 in her roles as a reporter, pastor, and theologian. Throughout this series, Pastor Angela will help us define Christian Nationalism in theological terms, explore its roots, and understand how it is being weaponized in American politics. Additionally, she will discuss how the Theology of the Cross can be used as a tool of resistance against Christian Nationalism.
