Bible Study

Wednesdays, 4:30–5:30 pm, Trailside Conference Room

This informal discussion follows the narrative lectionary we’re using in worship, with materials and questions provided in advance to spark conversation. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or knowledge of the Bible. If you’re unsure about anything or don’t recognize someone mentioned, no worries—we’ll pause and discuss together. Lively discussion is encouraged, but participation is optional. There’s no pressure to attend every session—just come when you can! To receive the materials ahead of time, please contact the church office.

Book Club

Third Thursday, 5 pm

The Book Club meets each month during the program year at Diamond Lake. Fellowship and food begins at 5:00 pm, with the main discussion at 5:30. You don’t have to read every book to participate, and you don’t even have to finish the book to show up! The group reads a wide variety of literature and always welcomes new members. The reading list for the year can be found on the calendar.

Wednesday Community Meal

Wednesdays 5:30–6:15 pm

Diamond Lake Church offers nourishing and delicious meals most Wednesday evenings during the program year—which is especially helpful for busy families with kids in confirmation classes or those who simply wish to enjoy a freshly prepared meal and fellowship midweek. A free-will offering with a suggested donation of $5 helps cover the costs of the meal.

Lakeview Forum

Wednesdays 6:30–7:30 pm

Faith is a lifelong learning process, and the Lakeview Forum is an ongoing series during the program year (September–May) to support it. Join us each week as we welcome a new or returning guest — from artists and educators to theologians and performers — each bringing their own unique voice and perspective. See the calendar for the next event.

(Programming does not take place on days that Minneapolis Public Schools are closed.)
