When you arrive, friendly greeters will welcome you with warm smiles. Begin your morning with hot coffee, a Bogart’s Doughnut, and conversation.
During worship, you’ll experience a blend of liturgy, Bible readings, and an inspiring sermon. Children are actively engaged in the worship service through features such as the Pray-Ground at the front of the sanctuary to the Sermon on the Steps. Holy Communion is celebrated every week.
Award-winning Dr. Kevin Hobbs plays the organ and grand piano. The choir is led by Dr. Bruce Gleason. Services regularly include the children’s and Carillon choirs led by Chuck Linderkamp.
We invite you to join us for a meaningful and uplifting service!
Congregational Fellowship Hour
Every Sunday after worship, the Congregational Fellowship Hour offers diverse programming suitable for all ages, from the youngest children to our oldest members and visitors. Some weeks, we feature Intergenerational Sunday School focused on the Bible story arc from that day’s worship. Other weeks include one-on-one conversations, service projects, puzzles and board games, or guest speakers. We conclude by noon each week.
Nursery is open for children under three, although all ages are welcome to worship.
Bogart's Doughnuts, Coffee, and Conversation
Worship
Congregational Fellowship Hour
We believe that children belong in worship with us. Within the first twenty minutes of the service, Pastor Andrea invites children to the front of the sanctuary for the Sermon on the Steps. You’ll be amazed by how deeply engaged the kids are during these conversations. We also offer “busy bags” filled with activities in case kids need more to do during the service, or kids can join the Pray-Ground at the front of the pews. Games, books, and puzzles are provided outside the sanctuary if children need a break. A caring nursery is on our lower level next to the Sunday School rooms should you need it.
Some people sleep in on Sundays. Some have places to get to after the service. That’s why we serve Bogart’s Doughnuts and coffee before AND after the service. No matter what your schedule is, make sure to save time for coffee and conversation. This is how we build a church together.
