The Artist-Activist in Residency at Diamond Lake Lutheran spends nine months embedded in the life of our congregation and the wider community. This residency is rooted in our belief that art is a catalyst for social change — capable of surfacing truth, disrupting harmful narratives, and inviting collective action. The Artist-Activist in Residence brings their creative practice into worship, community gatherings, and public engagement, working alongside congregation members and neighbors to imagine and enact a more just and compassionate world.
