The Welcome Home ministry at Diamond Lake Lutheran furnishes and outfits apartments in the Lutheran Social Service apartment building for mothers and children transitioning out of homelessness. While we accept donations of household goods year-round, we’re making an extra push this spring to gather needed supplies for the apartments. All donated items will be blessed during worship on Sunday, May 11 (Mother’s Day), as we lift up and support the families this ministry serves.
Giving is easy with online shopping lists from Amazon and Target. You can view exactly what’s needed—bedding, kitchen supplies, small appliances, and more—and with just a few clicks, your purchases will be on their way to you or directly to Diamond Lake Lutheran. Once they arrive, we’ll take care of delivering them to the apartment building.
This separate shopping list contains items that are best purchased at dollar stores. Please consider donating a quantity of ten for these specific items.
